Working pupil/horse hand required for FEI dressage rider and Bio mechanics & fitness coach.
Two positions available to start April 2015. Suit an international person with a willingness and hunger to learn.
The role involves the day to day care of a team of dressag horses and clients horses in for training. Tasks include tacking up for 4-9 horses, feeding and watering for a maximum of 15 horses, cleaning of 4 boxes and 7 day yards and all aspects of operation management – garden maintenance/grading arena/mowing (ride-on mower and whipper snipper) / handling young horses if capable. There is the opportunity for regular coaching sessions and if you are a capable enough rider a horse will be allocated for you to train and compete on during your stay. Travel to, and grooming at, Australia’s top dressage competitions is also a possibility. Small weekly wage plus live in, shared 2 bedroom accommodation is offered. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a friendly, knowledgeable team in a small boutique equestrian environment.
A roster system will allow ample time to explore the surrounding tourist area and beaches.
